I just have to tell you this story, if you like Waylon Jennings. I was with my boyfriend of the time and his parents in Nashville on Music Row.

Suddenly, I was overcome when I saw Hank Williams, Jr. a short distance from us. I alerted everyone I was with in great excitement. But a woman in the crowd tapped me on the shoulder, and said, “Honey, that’s not Hank, Jr., that’s Waylon Jennings.”

I blushed and thanked her for correcting me. As the woman walked away, my boyfriend’s mother gasped, “That was Waylon Jennings’s wife that just corrected you.” Sure enough, she walked over to him, and gave him a kiss.

I love Waylon and Willie’s duet, “Luchenbach, Texas.” I could listen to that song on repeat for hours before getting sick of it. Thank you for bringing back a nice memory 🤓
