Once again, I find the journalism of Mother Jones helpful here. They had a scary article that went largely unnoticed last August.
It turns out that the “firehose” method of lying is a propaganda technique used in Russia to disorient the population. It has been transplanted here by Trump. I truly wish every American had to read the Mother Jones article. But it probably wouldn’t help. Sigh.
