Seriously, Why Isn’t This Top News Everywhere? Why John Lewis said “Illegitimate.” A Corrupt FBI

You don’t have to use my piece to spread the news. But please spread the news.

Congressional Democrats have their mouths sown shut by confidential rules, otherwise they would be yelling what I am writing from the rafters. But we don’t need the government to tell us what happened. We can figure it out from reporting we already have. David Corn and a spy. Rachel Maddow and a Friday night meeting of Congress with intelligence officials for a briefing. The fact that James Comey is under investigation from the Inspector General of the FBI.

First, David Corn met with the spy, Christopher Steele, who put together this questionable dossier on Trump and Russia. It isn’t entirely dismissable, which is probably why our intelligence community has not yet said the information is not credible. In fact, one of our Medium members who is a former intelligence agent says some of the information looks credible. From these allegations about a link between Russia and Trump he found, the spy decided to take the information directly to the FBI, instead of just his Republican client. Rachel Maddow tells the story really well. I’ve included my source, Rachel Maddow, below.

Then, we learn that last summer 2016, this spy turned the dossier over to the FBI. But James Comey either didn’t open an investigation — which he clearly should have done, because the spy was credible and the allegations were serious — or the investigation was opened.

If the investigation was opened, think of the implications. Clinton was under investigation in Summer 2016, and James Comey went public to talk about it. Donald Trump was under investigation in Summer 2016 — or he should have been — and James Comey said nothing about it in public. This is a HUGE factor in our election that has nothing to do with Russia or Putin directly. It has everything to do with a corrupt FBI Director.

Please demand the media pay attention to this major story.
