You can’t have it both ways. You want a system that prevents tyranny of the majority yet you’re complaining that Congress won’t pass 20 week bans on abortion, that Obamacare was passed, and this ridiculous made up out of thin air issue of transgender bathroom use should become a new problem (transgender people have been around for decades using the bathroom, why is the bathroom issue suddenly appearing?).
You complain about these things while wanting to maintain the undemocratic system which is claimed to protect the minority, but which you haven’t acknowledged as having an outsized effect on legislation, which they do. You’re kind of all over the map.
You’re making an argument for land to have votes again (by saying the small states would not have their interests addressed). Are we a country of people who deserve their issues addressed or of landowners who get their needs addressed? I think we’ve got your answer. You seem to forget that states still have the complete capacity and ability to rule themselves. The question is how much should a tiny population of people be dictating to a large population of people how the federal government should be operating?
You have not accounted for how the majority of Americans wanted change to health care before the Affordable Care Act, the Republicans have offered no alternates (because ACA was their idea), and they still have no ideas on how to fix it. This leaves only liberal ideas left to be tried. And you’re wrong about how many Americans want to try them.

Your complaint that misogynist, racist policies can’t be enacted because we have amendments to the Constitution which require equal treatment under the law strikes me as a complaint for the Supreme Court. Liberals are rarely successful with any such legislation until the Supremes interpret the Constitution as such. I’m frankly surprised that you are willing to admit that conservatives are always trying to pass racist, misogynist policies.
